Seriously, there are of course some major parallels with The Wheat and the Weeds. There is an ingathering - this time a harvest of the sea not of the land, and there are two groups with distinct and opposite fates. And - as I said - the punch line for those who suffer condemnation is exactly the same. So it did cross my mind I could get out that last sermon and just change one or two words - substitute 'fish' for 'wheat' or 'weeds', and so on. Then I changed my mind. There will be similarities to some extent, but I'm going to find my way in by a different method, although I will - as with the other parables - concentrate on the main characters or symbols in the story.
