Luke 2:7 page 1 |

Paddy took great delight in delivering a withering line to poor Mary and Joseph. "There are hundreds of people in Bethlehem", he told them with great relish and dramatic force. All of which leads me to my text for this carol service: and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. [Luke 2:7] 'No room at the inn.' Now there's a popular text for this time of year. Who doesn't have room for Jesus? Let's explore that in two ways.
